If you look at the picture above, not knowing, you might think you were in, Alabama, Georgia, or Tennessee? Well needless to say we were in East Texas. It is easy to see why some of our cousins, from Anniston, AL settled here and let their roots grow.The people were friendly, the weather was warm and pleasant. I would like to THANK, cousin's Jo Ann Matthew's, Mamie Borrmann, Addie Nell Pruitt and her assistants, Helen Harris, Sandra Herring and Judy Kunzman for all their hard work in preparing for the estimated 100 + or - that showed up. The food was outstanding. There is not enough adjective's to describe the potluck lunch that was provided, bar-b-que beef, beans, deviled eggs, salads and much more. There was so much food, that I saw two men loading the left overs on a pickup truck!! Several people brought family albums, pictures, etc. to share. My sister Le Verle displayed a Memorial Page honoring deceased cousin Bill Robershaw and Bobby Martin, husband of cousin Lura Mae Robershaw. I was overwhelmed by the interest shown in our Robershaw Family Genealogy. This was the first Reunion that I have attended where the William Wesley Robershaw side of the Family was in the minority, and a learning experience for me!. To all my cousin's who wanted to attend and couldn't , We missed you and hopefully will see you next time!!

This is one of the fine eateries in East Texas. We enjoyed their food and the employee's were 1st rate!
