Trip Page Three - 2002
After  visting cousin Sara and her son Randy, we headed out
to Alexander City, to meet a new cousin, Malyon "Love" Mullin. She is the G.Daughter of Jefferson Davis Love. He is the brother of our G.Father George Fancis Love. It was indeed a fun day to meet some one of Love heritage that is interested in research of the Family name! She and her husband Edsel  were very Kind and Gracious Hosts. We were treated to a light lunch and  spent about 4 hrs. visiting  her brother Billy Bob & sister Nealger Cowart, trading information about each of our lives.
Ater we left Maylon & Edsel we drove up to Talledga,Al. to visit Aunt Mattie
and Cousin Huel her Son.I realized I didn't have any pictures of my Uncles
Wilbern or Tim so I inquired of Huel if he had any pictures of his Dad,
Wilbern?? Bless his sweet heart he spent a couple of hrs.looking that
afternoon, bought our dinner that night and had us come to his office the
next morning to help him look thru some more boxes to find pictures of his
Dad!! He gave me several pictures including a large one I believe to be of
Uncle Tim, when he was young!! Huel much to my suprise still is active as an attorney and argues cases in court!!
Aunt Mattie still lives at home!!
These are some dear friends, Ray & Joy Lewis. Ray  is a retired steel plant executive, and has been serving as a Methodist Minister since his retirement. He is my E-mail buddie, and sends me all those jokes!! His wife Joy & I went to Hi School together, have kept in touch thru. Christmas Cards etc. She is also on the reunion committee. This picture is over looking the Tennessee River @ Guntersville. Ray & Joy took us to the State Lodge & park for a buffet dinner!! The view from the patio overlooking the River was Awesome!!
