According to the 1860 census Lee Love & Mary Nappier were
living in Calhoun Co. with two children, John and Thomas. According to
the 1870 census, they were living in Calhoun Co. Lee was not there, however
there was Mary, John W, James Thomas, Jefferson Davis, and George F. In the 1880 census Mary Anna, James T, Jeff Davis and George F. are living in Clay Co. Al John W. was married to Nancy Teat.
James T. married Mary C. Grizzle in1882. Jefferson D. married E. A. Ray.
Then the records show that George F. married Jocy Nance Dec. 28,1893.
It is our belief that Lee was a middle name
and he was likely killed in the war between the States. |
