Astoria has done a wonderful job of helping her Mom re-decorate the Family Home!
On
June 16, Marlene and I got into Columbus, GA about 5:00 P.M. and after being
lost for a couple of hours, we finally found a motel. We called Juanita and
they were holding dinner for us. Most of the Family that lived locally were
there to meet us. Pictured above is Juanita and her youngest daughter April.
Oldest daughter Donna was there with her two boys, La Don and Bradley. Daughter
Astoria was also there. I'm sorry that some of the pictures we took didn't develope!!
Mother,
"little" April Ranita with her daughter Brooke Alisa. Juanita's G.
Grandaughter!!

The
next morning, Marlene and I picked up Juanita and we drove out to Park Hill
Cemetery where brother Jack was buried with Military Honors The picture on the
right is Marlene and Juanita in front of the Unknown Soldier Monument in the
military section of the cemetery! It was a lovely day and afterwards we went
out to lunch and recalled many of our memories of brother Jack!!
